- Summary: Sequenced is a subproject for a project called “abyss”. This project forces discrete processes to run in a predefined order.
The abyss project syncronizes users and groups across multiple platforms. Because of this, there are several “main” scripts that need to be run in a specific order on different servers. This is where sequenced comes in. Each of the main scripts checks with the sequenced daemon to verify whether it is clear for it to run or not, holds if it isn’t, and runs if it is.
